Re: I chucked somebody\'s tupperwear this morning...
I agree with Dids. being dirty at home is one thing, being dirty in shared common space is another.

Re: I chucked somebody\'s tupperwear this morning...
Homer,
I was the first person into the office. Meatball, another sink isn't really an option. With Vancouver? It's probably like 2 hours to BC, 2.5 to WA, depending on traffic, the border crossing and how fast you drive. |

Re: I chucked somebody\'s tupperwear this morning...
[ QUOTE ]
Points 1- I'm very well liked at work. 2- The note I left in the mug was hilarious 3- The email will be funny as well. 4- For all of you who think this is nitty, do you just ignore the nasty [censored] in the sink you use each morning? [/ QUOTE ] You can still be a nit and be liked by your employees. Does everybody know you are the one leaving notes on peoples dirty dishes?? If it bothered me that much I would just wash it. If taking 15 seconds to wash a mug is out of the question, I would find out who is responsible and ask them if they could just please wash up. Leaving notes and sending emails to all employees is lame. Everyday I have to look at this huge sign above the sink that says "please wash your dishes right away and don't wipe the nasty counters with the sponge....YUCK"... |

Re: I chucked somebody\'s tupperwear this morning...
ASU,
These aren't people that work for me. I know it's not anybody on my staff. The note was rolled up in the mug, the only person that would see it was somebody who picked up the mug. I'm not trying to make a public statement, that's lame. I'm just trying to communicate with one person that I think is being an [censored]. If that doesn't work, then I go to a public shaming. |

You sound pretty similar to the annoying fat nit that everybody hates at the office, although in my experience it's usually a fat woman.

Cleaned dishes yourself: Check
Left note for employee: Check Gave employee chance to remedy situation: Check No Change = Toss it. You went above and beyond. Next step: Public Humiliation. |

this is very nitty [/ QUOTE ] So you think you should just let it slide when people leave dirty dishes in a common kitchen sink for days? |

Re: I chucked somebody\'s tupperwear this morning...
I actually think leaving notes is nitty, but throwing away nasty tupperware is rather badass and should be applauaded.
