For example the easiest thing to bet is post counts, or portions thereof. Of course the n00bs won't get in on much action, but some of us will be playing higher stakes and betting much more. And if the admins want to get in on the pool, then of course they could wager a modship if they lose, or perhaps even the right to name a mod to be de-greened. I nominate Mike Haven to run the pool and keep track of all bets, since he is both 100% honest, and also seems to have a lot of time on his hands. Slight tangent, but it never really hit me until now how stupid a law is that allows gambling on the performance of an individual athlete, but not on the performance of an entire team.
