Impossible to say if it is good because we know nothing about the players, there is no magic formula how to play poker. But i suppose he made a good analysis if he is a good player.

Yeah, considering villain's stack size, it is fine.

If we are deeper, I would call.

Nothing else you can do with stack sizes. Villain only has a pot sized bet left on the turn. No matter what happens the money must go in.
