River Decision with AK vs 17/5
villian is a pretty typical weak player, I don't have any notes so he hasn't done anything too stupid

Easy call. Wouldn't be surprised if villain had AK as well.

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
I don't know exactly how you define "weak," but I would expect that means that a bluff is less likely. It seems more likely to try to check down AK, AQ, or J-10 at this point.
I would fold. |

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
bottomset only needs to be good here 1 in 5 times. we'll see some stupid missed diamond draw/mid-par often enough given he limp/called from UTG, esp since im sure bottomset has been raising +c-betting enough that bad players arent going to expect him to show up w/ TPTK here

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
You checked behind on the turn. This is going to make even the most passive players take a stab at the pot. Also, the bet isn't even close to the pot size. This is an easy call IMO.

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
call.
expect to lose to something like QJ or KJ, but pot odds dictate a call. |

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
Call...with the turn check you induced a bluff from probably a missed FD.

Re: River Decision with AK vs 17/5
Call, you checked turn for pot control and got a weak lead on the river. I can't see why this isn't almost exactly what you want with maybe a river card that hit a little less of his range.
