I don't think a raise here on the flop is a good play as it does give away the strength of your hand, making the villain fold a draw. If you are beat, then with a raise, you are just putting money in against a set or over pair and drawing very thin. There is only one real draw on the board, so a call is best IMHO.
As for the turn bet, this villain is really tight per your stats. I think TPTK is either heading for a chop or behind after such a big turn bet. It would be dependent on how many hands you have on villain to properly assess his stats for this hand and betting. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Raise flop to like 20 please. [/ QUOTE ] Why?!?!?!? [/ QUOTE ]SO VILLIAN CAN PLAY PERFECTLY OBV. [/ QUOTE ] if villain can play perfectly you are not raising enough flops then. if he is going to fold anything less than TPTK here just raise him on every flop until he adjusts. |

agrees with rebuyboy, though I'm not saying that raising this flop is right in this situation, but its not horrid

What if you were villain with a hand like TT/99/AT here. C-bet on the flop is pretty automatic. When bb calls the c-bet you may think he has middle pair or a straight draw. Then leading on a turn is pretty automatic, so that bb would fold his 8 or propably even J. Or is it??
