Davidson +7.5
Holy Cross +7.5
Wright St +10

I think lbs is going to win... a 12 seed has beaten a 5 seed atleast once every year for the last 6.. and lbs can put up points with the best of them... its ridiclious... i also like davidson alot

Do you honestly think that the fact that a 12 has beaten a 5 every year for some period of time has ONE SINGLE THING to do with this year's game?

No, that has nothing to do with it. I was just adding that in, I think longbeach state can go 3 rounds deep this year, have you ever seen them play?? I think they may lead the nation in total ppg, 86.4, thats ridiclious.

I'd say it without a doubt has a psychological effect.

Lines I like so far are:

USC (-1.5) v. Arkansas
GT(-1) v. UNLV
LBSU (+7) v. UT
VT (-2) v. Ill
MSU (-1) v. Marq
Gonz/Ind (U143)
GW/Vandy (O140)
UW/TAMCC (U132)

I've heard that E. Kentucky is just horrible. So bad that they will struggle to score at all against UNC....I know its scary to bet a spread that big, but -28 is solid play in my opinion.

I'm liking Nevada -1 right now too. I really think they could give Memphis a run in the second round too. Good leadership plus the fact that Creighton has struggled alot this year and I look for that to show in their first round game.

UNC-26 (got the line wrong in my above post)
LBSU +7 watched this team a few times this year and was impressed each time. Kejuan Johnson is tight, and they have four players averaging over 10 points a game, I think they can possibly win this one SU, but I'll always take the points.

Beware the Nevada pick. I am a Creighton season ticket holder and think they are playing great, not poorly like you suggest. That hit a real rough patch in the 3rd quarter of the season, but that was due in large part to Dana Altman overplaying his seniors. They looked warn down b/c of injuries they had to play a ton of minutes a night. Dana rested them at the end of the season and they got a break before the MVC tourney and just looked brilliant. Check the numbers, the 3 big seniors dominated all 3 games with 2 of them vs. very tough squads. I'm not saying Creighton will win outright, b/c I think both teams are in fact very underrated, but I think it will be very tight and give Creighton the slight edge.
