I wrote 40-45 in another post, and I just wrote what I am doing form there the post above yours. [/ QUOTE ] b/f is bad here b/c of stack sizes...villian has already commited $40 of his stack by the turn, so if we bet $40 and he shoves its only $20 to call. Against an unknown I have no real problem getting it in here. |

Re: KK .5/1 Line check
Looks like you made up your mind that villain had an A. Remember, this A can be a scare card for the villain too. Tough spot. I can't totally knock your c/f here. The smallish turn bet does make me think villain is also afraid of that A. For me, with an unknown, I fold here.

Re: KK .5/1 Line check
raise more preflop. as played I probably get it in here. AK is discounted so much because you have two kings.

Re: KK .5/1 Line check
this hand is really tricky given stack sizes. the fact that you said you sensed he's paranoid of a squeeze and it's really hard for him to have an A here i really don't mind just pushing turn.
as played, considering he is new to the table and only bet half is stack (but is clearly committed to the hand) your kings don't look so good and folding is probably best. |

Re: KK .5/1 Line check
Odd spot. I have a really hard time putting villain on an ace. This looks a whole lot more like some pocket pair that's decided to put you on overs for whatever reason. If he was the type that always bets when checked to then I'd feel pretty comfortable just check raising him all in here. But since he's unknown and I really don't want to risk giving a free card, I'd just push here.
