nh. I go broke here every time.
lol editaments. On the second hand, I bet closer to 700-pot on the flop, then shove the turn. Pf is fine. |

Not folding without a read.

First hand I probably make it 80-100 pf, and play same on the rest of the way.
Hand 2, I probably raise to 600 pf but 500 is fine, and I think I would shove the flop. Don't really see how making a bet and getting it in turn is any different in this situation, and if villains drawing hes paying upfront. |

why the huge raises kevin? [/ QUOTE ] I don't think those are huge raises. In the first hand 80-100 is 4-5bb which is slightly more than a standard raise but I prefer slightly bigger raises in 1st and 2nd rounds. As for the 2nd hand 600 is just 3xbb, which is standard. As for pushing the KK post flop I like this a lot. It will often times get a call out of a flush draw and sometimes get a call from QQ, TT, or AJ. thinking you're on a semi bluff with the over bet. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah thats my reasoning. Level 1 and 2 I make it 4/5BB because too many people limp here with garbage, level 3 I make it around 175 usually. As for the KK flop shove, I don't think any villain will change their plan of getting it all in or folding whether we just bet or shove. Not to mention if we don't get it all in here a missed flush draw could get out with some chips left in their stack. |

What do limpers have to do with our preflop raises in unopened pots? And I really don't understand the big raises, it just bloats the pots which can't possibly be good in awkward spots (weak hands such as A with Q kicker in multiway pots, unimproved AK, QQ overpair in multiway pots, etc), and imho it's much better to keep the pots at 250 rather than 300 at the 50/100 level. It can often mean the difference between being able to CB comfortably or not. It pretty much achieves the same as 300, but with less risk.
