£200NL - TPTK vs flop raise
I have played 5 hands with this guy, so no reads, sorry.
No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $1/$2 5 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $285.25 CO: $191.90 Button: $469.75 Hero: $198 BB: $40 Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG calls, CO calls, Button folds, Hero raises to $15, BB folds, UTG calls, CO calls. Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($47, 3 players) Hero bets $35, UTG folds, CO raises to $70 Wondering what you all consider standard in these spots. I still haven't figured it out if it's fold, call, raise or push. I'm pretty sure it's not call, but I'm clueless here, so anything's possible. I also find it hard to fold here, as it would become very easy to push me off a very good hand at a very cheap price. Raise? I guess, but aren't we all-in or committed after that? So push? But doesn't that allow them to play all hands with implied odds perfect against us? Thx. |

Re: £200NL - TPTK vs flop raise
you are either way behind or against a big draw here
his limp/call pf suggest he might not be the best of players, JT/88/99 all kind of fit this type of action though and you are pretty much drawing dead to those already. i have been thinking about this for the last 10 minutes and i am still not sure but i think i can fold this considering the we are OOP with such a fragile hand and two streets still to come. I would probably swear at the screen as i did it though |
