Ray and I land at 12:25pm on the 27th, we'll prob just split a cab, but if anyone sees us and wants in they're welcome.

I plan on wearing jeans, a collared shirt, and tennis shoes. If they give me crap I'll tell them I'm with ActionJeff and they'll back off (or, I'll go buy nice clothes).

I'm pretty excited for this tournament. I'm fairly certain it's the biggest mtt a 19yr old can play

I am really curious why you get on an internet message board and talk about your son so much. In my opinion (which is always right), that is a really low-life thing to do. I dont like to talk bad about people, but when it gets this bad, somebody has to put you in your place.

?

That came out of left field.

The casino in Monte Carlo is famous for turning away even A-list celebrities for not being properly attired. I don't know if the dress code applies to the EPT event, but you may want to make sure before showing up and being told you can't play the tourney you bought/won into because you don't have the right clothes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Not to worry. The tournament is not held in the Casino, so normal
dress standards apply. For you younger guys, that means ripped
jeans and sweatshirts that have not been washed since last weeks
rugby skirmish are OK.

well, since you're so curious lowkey, I can tell you that I admire so many of these guys, as people and players. I've enjoyed following their careers in the past few months, and I'm just as happy for their accomplishments. As far as talking about my son being low-life: perhaps this might be true in your own parent's case; but since mine is serving as the point of referrence in the replies you refer to, I think it's perfectly relevent, and exemplifies "my place". I hope that answers your question so your track record can stay intact. Please feel free to PM me with any further concerns.

edit: I'm sorry guys, this thread is about Monte Carlo.

Lol yes I think so...Are there two Alain Ducasse restaurants? I thought Louis XV was THE Alain Ducasse restaurant.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes I think you are right. The one I'm thinking of is in the Hotel de Paris.

I seriously doubt we will be able to get in on such short notice.
Maybe if you give the concierge at the hotel a 500 euro note he can
do something for us, but I'll leave that up to you!

Look forward to meeting you, Shane.

What kind of clothing is considered to be "nice" in Europe? I have some dress pants in various colors, and button/colared shirts (usually striped or with decorative designs), but thats about it.

What do you guys think is a appropriate?
