Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me
Good question... I'd realy like to hear mr. Sklansky's opinion. I would think I'd like to see the river card, since that's the most expensive one (most of the time) and influences both flop and turn decisions.

Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me
when you are on a table of loose passive players who limp in a lot with strong hands and trash and they bet if they hit any part of the flop , what is the best way to play them

Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me
I just want to know, what is the secret to reading other players hands? Is it experience or is it theory? Anybody?

Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me
How would you rate the importance of gathering information (player images, betting patterns, etc.) in poker games, especially in NL (Hold'em)?

[/ QUOTE ] The river card and there is little debate. For any other card, your opponent(s) will find out earlier than the river card. Knowledge of the river card gives you the longest advantage over your opponents. Imagine a game where your opponent gets preflop knowledge of one of the flop cards and you get preflop knowledge of the river card. Who do you think has the advantage? |

Re: NL Holdem Questions For Me
This would almost be a good thread, if only Sklansky would answer some questions. I especially like Matt Flynn's questions, but no answers to those questions either.
