Re: *300* Movie Review *No Spoilers*

While the quote is true, I'd also have to doubt the sexuality of any female or homosexual also that didn't like it. Holy intense workout routine for those guys, or maybe it was just effects? [/ QUOTE ] According to the HBO Making Of... show, the Spartans went through a 2 month (I think) boot camp for physical conditioning. The pic below shows the different layers of special effects. Looks like they were all ripped in real life. |

The ending bugged me too. Ok weve killed all the toughest you have to offer no problem. We still have ~280 spartans left (going by deaths, not by how many it looked like there were in the man made dome). And they all die in < 1 minute when theyve fought for days. Stupid. [/ QUOTE ] The reason they were defeated at the end so easily was because the persians had the secret way from the freak dude, and all of the spartans tactical positioning was worthless now. |

Mainly doing core things, such as pushups, situps, and pull ups. Crazy |

It was stupid. By the end of the movie you were able to remember two characters' names. Ugh. [/ QUOTE ] You're missing the point. This was a story about the whole, not the parts. We only know Leonidas because the whole is an extension of him. |

Re: *300* Movie Review *No Spoilers*
I don't know much about this movie, but someone sent this review of it to me, which is definitely worth reading.
Excerpt: I can’t spoil the plot because THANK GOD THERE ISN’T ONE. Just ass kicking that kicks ass that, while said ass is getting kicked, is kicking yet more ass that’s hitting someone’s balls with a hammer made of ice but the ice is frozen whiskey. |

Re: *300* Movie Review *No Spoilers*
this movie is very over the top, in nearly aspect. That being said, the visuals were amazing and the action immense. Definitely worth seeing.
My favorite aspect of the movie is how all the soldiers in the Persian army are basically tomatoes which explode with blood going everywhere with every sword and spear touch. Awesome. |
