Default Chris Richardson Wins It All

If he doesn't win it he will be the last man standing.

In the spirit of the show, I think we should begin voting a poster off of the forum each week.

I disagree. He surprised me somewhat with his country song, which was better than I thought it'd be, but I still think he will run into trouble in the themes. Also, while he was certainly one of the better guys, that's strictly relative - he isn't as good a vocalist as the top 4-5 women, and really just not that good on an absolute basis (for a pro).

He will certainly outlast the "dead money" singers, and probably one of Stephanie/Jordin, and I expect he'll go out in the 5-7 range. I do think that Chris Sligh will outlast him as a minimum, and he could also be vulnerable to either Blake Lewis (though I think the themes are a huge danger to him) or even possibly Brandon Rogers (if he can break out, though I'm beginning to doubt it).

As far as winning it, just picture a Melinda vs. Chris R. final two. The gap in talent is just so huge that I can't see him taking it down.

Chris Richardson was fantastic the first week. Then he did the same thing week 2, and that was pretty good. But then he did the same thing week 3 and it's getting kind of old.

He has an odd singing voice. It's like he's singing to himself. I like it.

If he can do it, he should come out and really belt something out and knock us off our feet. Or just do anything different to broaden his voter base. But I'm not sure he can.

Yes this is true I did write that. I did not buy the stock. Here's the thing. Lakisha and Melinda would both have to give bad performances for them to lose value to the other people. This is not going to happen. Which makes me think that Richardson isn't going to be valued properly until way later into the contest. Something like 6 weeks from now.

He'll be one of those drastic increase type of players. What's going to happen is Blake is going to be eliminated before Richardson and then his value will go up a decent amount. I just think the risk of America screwing this up is too high.
