This is fine, there aren't many bad turn cards other than an A so there's no need to blow out the bad parts of his range on the flop.

you're letting the 3rd player hit his set and stack you.

reraise preflop. if the first raiser is really a fish he'll be calling with a lot of hands you beat.

But the 3rd player can't stack you and doesn't have the implied odds to call for his set preflop. Dont we want him to make the mistake?

if i've got KK an someone reraises me i'm going to put pressure on QQ JJ AK etc.

i would only flatcall preflop if the other players are complete nutjobs and will bluff out at the flop a lot with complete air.

Theres nothing wrong with op's line imo. But i think its important to at least have some idea of how button plays (to be honest, that's the most important in this hand).

U want to know it because, if hes decent, he pretty much will always have a set if he doesnt fold on flop. If he is bad, u dont mind getting all in with him on that flop. Pfraiser range is wide imo (given stats) and he is stacking off with T8s, so going all in against him is good.

hmmm. unorthodox line just calling with the KK then just calling on the flop, but actually against this lag fish not so bad. although against low-limit idiots i pretty much always 4bet preflop with the kings cuzz too many ppl stack off with QQ JJ AK etc.
