Hyper-Rage from Redbull & Jäger
I've seen more than a few people go completely psycho off of Redbull & hard liquor drinks. I'm not talking your 'normal' mean drunk but a super mean drunk where the person attacks the people they trust the most. Redbull & Jäger seems, in my experience at least, to be a particularly volatile combination. I even had a roommate who is normally extremely friendly go completely haywire when he drank a 1/5th of Jäger, 16'ish redbulls, and who knows how many beers. It was so bad that we literally hog tied his ass and he continued to rage for an hour or two. He was a heavy drinker and would have no problems downing a case of beer while retaining his composure. Redbull & Jäger seemed to be his kryptonite though.
Last night I saw another normally timid person (he was on the Deans list at a top b-school) go completely haywire. We were forced to regulate his ass for his own safety. The ensuing ruckus caused a small army of police to arrive on the scene with guns drawn. Nobody was seriously hurt and amazingly nobody went to jail. Still, the change of character amazed everyone that knew him. What was this villain drinking? Again, the answer is lots of Redbull and hard liquor. My basic question is has anyone else noticed a similar phenomenon? Does Redbull & Jäger make anyone here hyper-angry? |

Re: Hyper-Rage from Redbull & Jäger
there is no reason you should act any different drunk on redbull/jager, than beer.

Mix a half a 5th of grain alchohol with lemonade and drink it in a half an hour. You will never ever get that drunk on beer. Also the quicker you get drunker the more likely you are to be a rowdy/active drunk than a passed out drunk. Some people get gropey when they're active drunks, some get fighty, some get emo, etc. I don't agree that different kinds of alchohol can make you more of a mean or fighting drunk. That's a function of your personality, mood that day, stress level, environment, etc. |
