Value of various SuperNova tiers discrepancy?
So check it out.
We all love the PokerStars VIP program. It's unique and encourages many to play at PokerStars when they might otherwise might not have. The program is designed to reward players for playing more and/or higher stakes (which has them contributing more rake$). And to a point it achieves just that. For purposes of simplifying my calculations, I'm going to use .015 as the value of a FPP. This is the value of the SuperNova $1500 bonus. This is the value of each tier of the SuperNova level, including FPP value, milestone bonuses, and tournament packages. Reaching 100KVPP is worth $5250, or 5.25c per VPP. Reaching 200KVPP is worth $11750, or 5.88c per VPP. Reaching 300KVPP is worth $19250, or 6.42c per VPP. Reaching 400KVPP is worth $27750, or 6.94c per VPP. Reaching 500KVPP is worth $37250, or 7.45c per VPP. Reaching 750KVPP is worth $57125, or 7.62 per VPP. Reaching 1MVPP is worth $75,250, or 7.52c per point. You'll notice that as you play more, your value increases. That is, until you reach the 500,000 mark. I am left wondering why the value stops going up at this point. Thoughts? something doesnt seem right. Did you remember to add the value of both the packages AND the ffp earned from 750k to 1 mill?

I forgot to add the milestone bonuses to the 1M club.
Reaching 1MVPP is worth $96750, or 9.68c per VPP. This helps prove my point. There is very little in added value after 500,000 points. In my opinion the 750,000 mark should have something added to it. |
