Scams pulled on 2+2(ers) - Name \'em!
I'd like to keep this half-way structured, so the information is condensed. Feel free to list your favourite scam on 2+2.
When: Early 2007 Where: BBV Scammer: Vigorish Scammee: BBV How was it done: Convincing BBV to donate $$$ to help pay for his wife's cancer treatment. BBV even set up several charity events. How it ended: Most likely, scammer lost all of the $$$ gambooling. Verdict: BBV got pwned. Hard. Lesson learned: Don't donate $$$ to unknowns on the internet. Links: *Official Mrs. Vig Information Thread* The final word on Vig: the truth I hope that BBV, at the very least, reads the "Lesson learned" part. |
