Sanity check
I have villain over 30/0 for 25 hands if that's worth anything. Given that we're a little somewhat deep I just felt I was beat here and the somewhat min-raise from the BB just looks fishy. Meh, did I make a mistake here?

Re: Sanity check
25 hands is virtually nothing. I don't think I don't felt it here. If he has AA in this spot, that is tough luck. But getting it all-in preflop with AA and KK is what I look for always. It's not AK where you want to push but not call.

Re: Sanity check
Why not call the 3-bet w/ position? I don't like 4-betting a 3-bettor that never raises in the first place.

Re: Sanity check
If he has AK/QQ/JJ, I think he'll be calling my 3bet and since we're a bit deeper I think 4betting here helps to get more money into the pot so I could take his stack.
I could just shove the flop and even though it'll be a slight overbet, I think he'll be more likely to call me than call 2 big bets on 2 separate streets. |

Why not call the 3-bet w/ position? I don't like 4-betting a 3-bettor that never raises in the first place. [/ QUOTE ] First, the sample size is tiny. He raises the next three hands and the PFR goes up to 10. Second, I don't want to let him get away with AQ, AK when he doesn't hit on the flop. I want to get my money in when I am very likely to be the favorite. And when you just call his 3bet, what are you going to do on a ragged flop? Would you fold that, because you put him on AA? Probably not. So I love to get the money in when there is a good chance that he is pushing with AK or a smaller PP and not let him see a flop first. |

Re: Sanity check
I get it all in preflop. I would have to have a much better read on this guy before I fold KK preflop.

Re: Sanity check
I guess you could just call his raise, but you'll probably just get in on the flop if an ace doesn't come. Unless I have some sort of read that tells me he can't have something like AK or QQ I'm willing to put my stack in preflop.
