I really don't see why you hate the open raise so much. People in $10 rebuys don't know what they're doing, you get this folded to you a lot. And when you don't, you have things like this happen and could double up huge.

Granted I probably wouldn't open with the BB so huge, but if BB were smaller I wouldn't have a problem at all.

Actually sometimes I find it more advantageous to raise into bigger stacks towards the bubble for reasons of this hand specifically - you can double up through and get a massive stack when they make dumb mistakes playing too aggressive. Plus they're going to give you credit if you do play aggressively because who plays into the big stack?

This of course all changes if it's a legit player I'm afraid of, but against unknowns I'm not afraid to play into them.
