KJ os from BB.
playing 2/4 NL. some (not very tight not very loose) aggressive player raises to 16 when u are BB with KJ OS.
You call. Flop is K83(two hearts), you check. He bets 28. Call or raise at this moment? (If raise 3x and get called and blank comes at turn will u bet or check?) You call. Turn is 2 of spades. You check. He bets 50. You call. River is 10 of hearts. You check he betes 140. It seems like a fold at river. But what would you do all the way with this situation? |

Re: KJ os from BB.
Easy fold preflop, why put yourself in this pot?

Re: KJ os from BB.
In what position does he have to be in for you to re-raise KJo out of position?

Re: KJ os from BB.
Given most peoples call range, KJo doesn´t look so hot to me compared to random suited trash if you must RR a bad hand oop.

[/ QUOTE ] yep, but its far from a simple case of comparing our hand to the opponts range of reasonable calling hands. i see what youre saying though: the fold equity we have both pre and post translates just as well if we have some random trash hand, i agree. KJo may be harder to play post-flop than a hand like 97s or something in this situation, but KJo still has to have more value assuming we do get called. |

Re: KJ os from BB.
I play NL 50 so far, not more, though as a huge winner. But when I see these posts and questions, I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to beat higher levels very soon.
This should be an obvious fold preflop at any level. KJo is a trap hand, especially OOP! |

Re: KJ os from BB.
BTW this is 6 max table and I still think KJ is a call preflop considering all small pairs and suited connectors and the opponent is not tight.
But the board and river bet tells me I am beat most probably. |
