Easy Excel question

say i have a column of numbers ranging from -1200 to 2000 but in no particular order. how would i organize them in a new column in either ascending or descending order?

In the standard toolbar there are two icons, one that has an A on top of a Z with an arrow pointing down, the other with a Z on top of an A with an arrow pointing down. Copy your data and put it in the new column, then highlight it and choose one of the buttons, one is ascending, the other is descending. I dont know if that was confusing or not, if it is lemme know and ill try to clarify.

Also, you can just highlight your data then go to the Data tab at the top and the first option should be Data Sort.
