He has max of 6outs there so you are protecting 3200$ (2200$ pot + 1200$ you pay off) which worth 400$ (he gets there one in 8). To make checking better you would need to induce bluff or gets value on the river form hands which wouldnt call turn one in three which I think is not going to happen. In first readign I was fooled by converted and thought it was slight overbet, not half pot bet. |
