Default Need help beginning bankroll mgmt.

my story is as follows I had 800 dollar roll on stars after taking second and third in a 10/120 on stars, I have sinced lost 350 dollars playing tourneys and sng's I know this is a terrible formula, what level of nl cash games should I start out with. my br is now 450 and im worried as hell I consider myself a above avergage player.... of course but I want to focus strictly on cash games and always find myself bringing 50-100 into a room take a bad beat and go visit tilt monster.

With a $500 roll, you can play NL25 if you are a winning player.

Learning to deal with tilt is the first stage in keeping yourself from visiting the busto-monster.

Work on walking away from the computer if you find yourself on the verge of tilting. It will save you tons!

Also you got easily be playing way too high and/or you are under the misconception that you are an above-average player and you are not.

But to answer your topic: you should be playing the buy-in x 30...so for example 450/30=$15 is the sng's you can play IF you are a winning player on that level. otherwise drop down for another 10k hands.

I'd play the $25 if I knew I was a winning player. It this money is very important to you, then you should play the $10 and work your way up.
