2 QQ hands vs same villian within 5 minutes
Villian is a 2+2er and has stats of 21/15/3. I used to play with him a bit at 1/2 and 2/4, and he never seemed to tricky, but that was a couple of months ago. We haven't tangled in the short time we've been at the table. I have no idea how he views me, but I've been fairly active today, running at 25/21/4.
One of my weaknesses is my play in reraised pots. I tend to play a bit too straightforward and I give my opponents too much credit when they play back at me. Hand 1 may not be interesting, but I want to make sure I'm not giving up too easily in reraised pots. I think hand 2 is interesting given my play in hand 1. I decided to check the flop because I thought he may view me as weak and try to bluff me off my hand given what happened previously. Or should I just bet/fold the flop? Re: 2 QQ hands vs same villian within 5 minutes
Hand 1 I would bet more on the flop. Against most opponents I usually 3 bet shove all in, it is pretty read dependant though.
Hand 2: Checking or betting the flop is fine. After checking though I probably wouldn't call two streets. In other words fold river. |

[ QUOTE ]
Fold river in hand 2 [/ QUOTE ] I concur. If the guy made a big bluff bet on two streets then more power to him. |
