This is a flaw in my game at times also. When the foe comes out and bets at me on the turn, I also raise but calling does seem like its much better of a play.

New to the 6max forum, but this is great! I love the hands that everyone discusses and all the opinions on how the hand could be played.

Looking forward to posting some of my own very soon.

Call turn for pot control. Re-evaluate river based on villain's action.

After your raise it's probably a good fold, but I just call the turn and see what he does on the river.

why raise the turn?

if he's not got a hand he may well get scared by the board pairing - if he's got a 7 he'll take you to valuetown.

call turn - call modest bet on river - profit.

I was a str-draw and fl-draw flop. BB easily could have one of these draws. Some guys like to make blocking bets oop in such situations. Raise more, i.e. the pot - $10!
Turn - call to control the pot and call or bet the blank river for value - I agree with payoff wizard.

I like flop raise to 7.5 or 8, and call turn, c/c up to around pot on river

Good fold. Maybe I would shut down right after his turnbet. But I would need good reads on villain for that.
