Hand vs Lag (.5/1)
Villian is LAG. pre/post. We have not dueled yet. Just curious on what you would do here.
10 handed, He has 209, and I slightly cover. He open limps, I raise to 4.50 w/ 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], everybody folds he calls. FLOP: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] He checks, I bet 8, he min c/r. Your move? |

Call. Raise a turn bet if you improve. usually fold if no improvement by the turn.

Re: Hand vs Lag (.5/1)
eckoo,
call the flop. calling a turn bet would be tempting, since you're on the deep side, but you're not going to stack him (or come close to it, really) if you improve. you'd need a real good price to make a turn call, one you probably won't be layed. (cliffnotes: "what orange said.") |

Re: Hand vs Lag (.5/1)
That is what I did. Turn was Qh, he bet 18 I called.
River was a 2c, he bet 45, I folded. He showed 7s5s. I just wondered if anybody would re raise his flop bet, and take a free card on turn (if I missed)? |

[/ QUOTE ] Sounds like raising the flop or pushing the turn would both be interesting options against this guy. However, I wouldn't want to do that with you both being so deep. I'd rather do that on 100BB stacks. So deep he could easily push over the top and you're screwed. |
