Re: Degen was just banned
Do a Google search for "controvercial Taiwan".
FWIW, it appears to be a common misspelling. e.g. China Daily "The comments were Beijing's first official response to Chen's inaugural speech, which the Taiwan leader himself believed will help clear up misunderstandings across the Straits during his controvercial second four-year term." * Edit: Not sure if Taiwan was exactly the right searchword, but, whatever. |

Re: Degen was just banned
I thought Degen would of had more supporters then in this survey. It seemed as though his "Ask Degen about Thailand" thread was pretty famous and bumped frequently.
This has to be hurting his business'. In the end it seems like the mods and the users of this forum have run him out. Does he have any chance ever of returning? fyc |

Re: Degen was just banned
Can someone, preferably a mod, give me a 2 sentence summary of why Degan was banned? If it's been posted here and I just missed it, can you link directly to the post?

Re: Degen was just banned
yeah, i'm not exactly sure either although it might be alluded to in pokeraddict's thread about it in the A/R forum.
There seem to be implications that he had some unsavory behavior outside the 2+2 realm as well but I haven't read his crazy-long Thailand thread which is where I'm guessing some of these drtails were. I know I, and several others, were spammed by a "friend" or "Sub-affiliate" of his. He personally apologized to me for how out-of-line that guy was. I have no idea if it was really another person or not but the mods in this thread also seem to be implying that he did some spamming on his own. 5 times getting suspended for various stuff is an awful lot. |

Re: Degen was just banned
Falang, why did you delete your last post?
For those that missed it: It really wasn't just one thing Evan. Any of them by themselves wouldn't have lead to a banning. Degen takes full responsibility and after talking to Nation last night on AIM actually agree's with the decision himself now. All of the spamming stopped over a year ago, though it did take place at that time. He was banned then and given another chance. About a month ago he attacked some other affiliates in A/R and was given another chance. There are a host of other non-tangible things that aren't necessarily banworthy as stand alone offenses, but coupled with the rest of this it just seems the mod's just kind of had enough of his BS. One of these was that he owned RakeReport.net and tried to keep it a secret that he owned RakeAid.com and secretly listed RakeAid.com at the top of RakeReport.net, and 'unbiased' rakeback directory. This was a pretty shady move on his part and pissed a lot of people off. He also recently made some racist remarks in OOT about blacks. He also made a pretty stupid thread in the El D forum that pissed some people off. He has also had probably 10 gnome accounts on 2+2, some of which have been used to spam and or troll...all of this in relation to his affiliate businesses. It even makes sense to me now. Lets all just go on with our lives. So, um, why did you start this thread? |
