Default TT gets checkraised by a Lag that knows I\'m tight.

The game is 5/10 NL at Motorcity Casino in Detroit. There is no cap on the buy-in, with a 300min. I have about 1800, villain has me covered. He is a solid player, although he's somewhat loose, and is prone to checkraising the flop, especially against tight players. His impression of me is that I'm pretty tight. The game is 10 handed. UTG calls, 3 folds, I make it $45 with Black Tens, folds to the Villain in the SB who calls, BB folds, limper calls.

Pot ($150)
Flop 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

They both check, I bet $125, tag raises to $350, UTG folds, I insta-call.
Pot ($850)
Turn 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

He checks, I check

Pot ($850)
River 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

He bets $600, I insta-call. Good call or spewing?

is the sole reason you say you insta-call because you made such a great read on how he bet when he sensed weakness from your check on the turn and how now you're this great 2+2 poster in msnl that can just outplay all his opponents in every possible situation so yeah im going to post this brag post here, great!

or:
what does you insta-calling in either instance really have anything to do with the hand? its a good call yes but you obviously were confident in your own answer, so just make good calls and not so many brag posts

lol @ me deducing this from oneword in your op

Looks ok to me if he thinks you're weak and he's a macho kind of player, otherwise probably spewing.

I haven't posted the results. The insta-call was because I had done my thinking on the turn, that his likely holdings were a set, or a flush draw, or maybe an A9 type hand, so when the river blanked I didn't have any thinking to do on the river. If the river had been a more dangerous card, then I would have had thinking to do on the river. I'm interested in how I played the hand, and if this is an acceptible line against this type of player, or if I'm reading too much into what I percieve is his read on me. Why would I care if anyone knew I made a bad call, or brag on the internet where I don't know anyone? I'm just providing as much info about the hand as I can. I don't know if the call was right or not, or even if my play on other streets was right, but like I said, I had made my mind up on the turn to call a blank river, whether that decision was right or not.
