Weird problem connecting to PokerStars

Since this past Friday, I cannot access PokerStars from home. It opens the "Connecting...." dialog box and tries to log on until it fails. Here is why it doesn't seem to make sense:

1. I can't log on from any computer in my house, including the desktop and it does not matter whether it is connected to the router or not.

2. My laptop connects just fine to PS at Starbucks and at my parents house.

3. PS sent me a different port to use and that doesn't work.

4. My cable company (Charter) says they don't block sites. We went through a test to see if the port PS uses is blocked and he said it wasn't.

Anybody have any ideas?
