Default uNL: QQ and scary cards in fishy environment

Hi there,

I always have problems in situations like the following. It is an example out of a $1 Two-table sit&go, but it occurs frequently in my micro environment cash games.

I have not a perfect hand, but close to it. I raise pre-flop and one guy is calling my raise. The flop is with a scary card (in this example two, the double ten is scary, too) and I bet. The opponent calls and I think he has his top-pair. After that we check on turn and river and it turns out, I had the winning hand because he had nothing at all. So my question arises, how to handle this turn/river situation. Shall I bet once more? Since slow-play is so common I'm maybe to defensive... If I should bet, which amount? Thx a lot in advance,
best regards, Markus

I wouldn't bet any more and I'd play it the same. If he has KJ, QJ, KQ or something, all of them got there, if he has a smaller pair he's not calling a turn bet and if he has KX[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] he just got there on the turn. You played it fine.
