Am I trying to lose weight? Am I trying to get the most nutrition?

I'd probaby get a bag of frozen chicken, a box of spaghetti, a thing of butter and some parmesan cheese.

Or

7 McDonald's Dub Cheese
6 McDonald's McChicken

Or

As much Mac&Cheese as I could buy.

$15 $1 instant lottery tickets.

Seriously - probably a whole chicken and some discount veggies. Grocers usually put the stuff they're going to toss tomorrow on a special rack at like a 75% discount.

You can section the chicken and make a stock with the bones. You'll have two whole breasts - two meals. Two thighs - two meals. Two drumsticks - one meal. When the stock you made with the bones is done you can pick the extra meat off the back/wings and make chicken salad with half and chicken croquettes with the other half.

OP said you can't eat anything outside of what you buy. Does that mean you can't use water?

beans
rice
gallon of milk
oatmeal
olive oil
multi-vitamins (buy cheapo storebrand, will last a year)

these items will provide all the nutrition you need, and if you buy in bulk will average out to much less than $15 a week.

8 packs of ramen-$1
2 cans red beans, 1 can black beans, huge can tomato sauce-$4
(for making chili)
2 packs of pasta-$2
Sack of Rice-$4
Jar of Peanut Butter-$2
Loaf of bread-$2

FWIW, My gf and I go shopping once every two weeks and spend $150 which works out to less than $40 week each. And we get all sorts of useless things like Morningstar Products (like $5 for fake sausage links), Soda and Juice, lots of name brand stuff, frozen dinners, protein bars, Shrimp, etc.

$15 is a lot.
