The real problem in this hand pre-flop is not SB, who I don't mind playing against, but the button who is an unknown. It's very close, but I think I let this go because your calling but not closing the action and you will be out of position the rest of the hand against him. Your making the call for set value and your not making a whole lot when you do hit a set and manage to stack SB even though there is some dead money in the pot if you consider the 5/10 rule. This is looking at this hand in the long run if you play it the same way every time. As played, I check fold that flop. |
