Rome tonight March 4
I'm a huge fan of the show but seriously tonight's episode has really turned me off. I don't just want to watch a show that is about nothing but human depravity. The political intrigue and warfare plotlines have been fully replaced by people just being really [censored] up.

Re: Rome tonight March 4
I really liked season 1. I haven't been nearly as impressed with season 2. The storylines are dull...and the actors seem like they're going through the motions. I don't find myself caring about any of the characters this season.
I did enjoy the look on Atia's face when Antony was marrying Octavia, though. |

Re: Rome tonight March 4
They've started to pass over political/war storylines (like Antony's wife Fulvia starting a rebellion in Italy will be skipped over), presumably because they are running out of time.
However, I suspect that once Antony goes East politics will come back into play. |

Yes, I'd prefer that Vorenus and Pullo would return to kicking ass. But I'm still quite content with this show.

ok, it's not season 1 that's for sure, but I still think it's better than 99% of the shows on tv.
It does seem like nothing is really going well for anyone that we like. vorenus has been taking a back seat in the last few episodes, we need him back. awesome that atia got screwed though. |
