Default $11 Playing too tight in the late game?

I've recently moved up from the $5.50 regular SNG's to the $11 buy-in. The biggest difference I'm noticing is that more players play a standard tight game, leading to there consistently being a lot of players left in the late game. I'm finding it hard to know how much to loosen up due to the increasing blinds when there are still a fair number of players in the game.

Here's an example. Everyone at the table is playing tight. I'm fairly confident that villain's range is 55+ (perhaps any pair) and Ax+. I know he should be pushing ATC here, but he's not. Basically, I'm confident if I call I'm slightly behind, but essentially a coin flip.

Assume my read is correct (fwiw - it was). Given the blinds, do I push this?

Hero folds really fast.

* you are in good shape
* you have a worst hand than pusher (which should NOT push a2c, by the way)
* you still have 3 players behind

why risk half your stack when you know you're getting it in bad

Thanks Rex. What should villain's range be here? With the blinds at 100/200 and 25 antes, he can't last two orbits. He obviously needs to double up and can't fold into the money.

I wouldn't push atc in his situation, but I always figured I was being too tight in this situation. What's the right play?

There is no definite anwser, depends on range etc ... but I would definitly push anything that looks sexy, broadway, connectors ... and not T2o or 82s.

Cool... that helps. I assume even one gap connectors (e.g. 97o) would qualify in this situation? Just trying to get a sense of the bottom of the pushing range - understanding that it depends on reads, etc.
