i'm gonna put him on A7-9 no spade draw. just a hunch.

Your analysis is solid though... raises with AQ on the flop or AK preflop... 2 pair is possible but i don't think someone with 2 pair would play this way with the str8/flush draw and then the ace coming. AJ is possible MAYYYYYBE A6.

But i'm still going to stick with A7-9 without the spades

As roommate said (my [censored] roommate), I called and the guy had A7o. Looking back, I do not like my play though. A lot of hands in his range hit that turn or hit the flop and are being cute.

And, not that it matters too much, but the river was a queen... ship it.

Am I the only one who doesn't bet this turn?

BTW I think you are badly smoked here against an opponent who isn't either totally horrible or very tricky/aggressive. I don't think we're getting odds to call against his likely range so I muck it. Like I said, I'm not betting here.

FWIW if I had to guess at his hand I'd say AJ or KT.

What hands would I bet the flop and check the turn?

JJ/QQ/AA/AQ?

I have no idea how you play =)

If you're worried about becoming exploitable since you don't check big hands here, I wouldn't worry about it. To exploit you people would need to start bluffing here, and in my experience just about nobody has the chutzpah to do that.

I think I play TT/JJ/QQ/KK/AA like that, but I think I still bet the turn with AK/AQ/AJ/KQ. Although, KQ is at the lowest end of my betting range here. I might even bet with with JJ/QQ/AA if I thought Villian was suspicious or strong.

FeNeF... is you avatar your graph? If so -- whats your name -- if not -- whose is it?

Not my graph, unfortunately. It's tatta @ 'Stars, who plays PLO/8 (mostly HU) and is apparently ridiculously good at it. I believe he has made several tens of thousands more at O/8 MTTs and cash games.

Did you feel guilty when you drew out on him? Ha! I put him on Ace-x.
