Default Free trial question.

I downloaded something last week that had a 5 day free trial. I never used it and when I went to use it today it said the trial had expired. I Uninstalled and redownloaded it, but it still said it was expired.

Is there a way I can completely delete it from my computer so I can download it again and try it before I cough up the money for it?

Try sending customer support an email explaing what happened. You can also try searching your registry for keys that sound like the software's name and getting rid of them, but that is a little more risky.

your best bet is to ask the sales dept. if they think you might buy the program that might let you re-download it and run it.

I agree with goldtoes.

edit: I think he meant "Telling us what program you downloaded will help us."

A sidenote on trials that may or may not work.( depending on the software)
Old trick...
BEFORE you install the trial software, change your system clock to a couple years ahead of current and then restart the computer.
Install your trial, and then reset to clock to the the correct year and your 30 day trial just turmned into a X year and 30 day trial.( how ever many years ahead you set the clock)
