I am not at risk of having friends use my computer when I am not watching so my password is saved on my poker client. Will a keylogger still detect my password if I never have to enter it?

That said, this is only desirable if your reasonably sure no one can control your PC either physically or remotely. [/ QUOTE ] Towards this end, be sure you've disabled the long list of microsoft services that leave you open to remote attacks, starting with m$ remote desktop (in XP: right click on my computer, select properties, select the remote tab, read what's there). I hadn't thought of the fact that staying logged in locks up your account. (Unless someone could open up a bunch of clients by clicking on the program icon real fast, of course.) |
