firefox
so my desktop computer did some weird chit and it erased all my firefox settings. i have a laptop with basically the same settings, and would like to export lap to desk.
i see where i can export bookmarks, but what about all the plugins, caches, and that crap? is there a one stop solution from one mozilla file area and drag drop it to my dsektop? or antyhing that can accomplish this? |

Re: firefox
Yes! Go here.... Mozbackup. Download this program and run it. Check all of the boxes (except "account settings only") and it will make a back up of Firefox, exactly like it is on that computer. Install Mozbackup on the other pc, transfer the backup you just made to that machine and do a restore with Mozbackup.
Might sound difficult at first, but it's actually very very easy and a very handy tool. I use it all the time to make backups of my Firefox and Thunderbird profiles. - Jason |
