Yes. Declined.

payTru's explanation: "We dont do transactions with gambling sites."

Like I said, go figure. (But ya gotta luv it.)

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm wondering how high on the unintentional comedy scale this is?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think that it's off the charts.

At the very least, it sets the mark to top.

I signed up within the first hour of this thing. I figure I should be in the first batch of cards mailed out. Haven't received it yet. I haven't seen anyone else say they got theirs yet either.

Despite not being thrilled about the fees. I just attempted to use this card to buy a new motorcycle jacket from Leatherup.com and the transaction was declined.

Now, previously, I cashed out $50 to the card from PokerStars, and then after a couple of days, redeposited that $50 into PokerStars.

Then a few days later, I made a withdraw to cover this new jacket. The $50 was credited right away, and I just got an email that said the rest had cleared. Logged into paytru to verify the funds were there, and then attempted to make the purchase. I have an 88.90 balance, and I see the attempted purchase of 87.90 (a buck to cover the POS fee) and it was declined.

Phooey.

Im stuck because I clicked the original link that stars sent me, changed my pin. I then got my account closed because they said that my credit card information did not match my billing address (it did i checked 3 times). I am now locked out of my account and cannot accesss it. I talked to phone support who was completely useless and said that they would email me my card number ( i never recieved it to begin with). I finally got an answer from email support that said i should try to access my account via the link that stars sent me, however when i try to do that it says that I am not entering the correct pin (even though I am), what gives?

PS_Petter - Thanks for your response. You mention the technical issue of the "card unavailable for loading" message, but not the ""Declined! Reason: 2007 - 3D: Data Manipulation Suspected" message. I got this response and have no idea what it means. Is this a technical error or does it mean my credit card will not work with this deposit system?

Anyone else try to use this at a "non-gambling" site?

i would recommend entering the 9 numbers of your ssn consecutively.

And when you deposit from your credit-card I would recommend no dashes or spaces there either.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did anyone else have this issue? They keep telling me theres an issue with my SSN. I know the number I'm entering is 100% correct.

Technical issues - We have identified a number of issues early on:
1."Card unavailable for loading" is one such issue that should not be occurring. This has affected a small number of players; we are fixing it.
2.The prepaid Visa Debit option "disappearing" from the cashier. After you have signed up, the prepaid Visa Debit button will disappear; you then use the card as a regular Visa card to deposit and cash-out.
3."Random Middle Initial" appearing in pre-populated data when signing up at PAYTru site is a glitch; we are fixing it.
4. "Invalid Information" error code - There are currently some issues with Social Security Number (SSN) verifications for some players. It would help a lot if you check that the name and date of birth in your PokerStars account is consistent with your SSN details. We are fixing these issues.

so i'm hoping it's something they're going to fix. i have the same problem.
