top pair good kicker - calldown or fold turn
I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but i didn't find one for micro stakes SH.
Just got a question about this hand: http://www.pokerhand.org/index.php?p...mp;hand=874609 Opponent has 80% Vpip, PFR 11 and AF 0,9 Without reads it's an easy calldown i think. But with an AF of 0,9 i should fold the turn, hm? |

Re: top pair good kicker - calldown or fold turn
Easy calldown. .9 AF is aggressive for someone who plays 80% of their hands.

So i have to put the AF in relation to vpip?

Re: top pair good kicker - calldown or fold turn
I usually play calldown here also. I'm just looking for leaks. :-)
Okay, i think this isn't a leak, just a tougher decision. Thanks for the replys! |

Re: top pair good kicker - calldown or fold turn
u cant fold this vs this guy ever (or anyone really).
even vs normal somewhat aggro opponents this is a worse Q, a str draw (67 64 96 74 97) a bdfd or some random hand bluffing or semi-bluffing way too often to not calldown. this isnt a tough decision at all i usually bet those board pairing turns trying to get people to check-raise me so i can call down happily (sometimes losing of course). these bdfd turn cards that pair a rag bottom or middle pair (even without the fd) just see people check-raise bluffing far more often than is optimal (even with hands theres not much reason to like 99 Ahi or 5x); so its an easy call-down and a good chance to let them bluff. so bet calldown happily, this is totally standard not a leak at all. |
