Default OT: Lowest stakes tables in Vegas for BJack/table games

Thought some of you Vegas locals may have some ideas, I have a friend turning 21 that isn't a poker player/gambler but would like to experience the atmosphere cheaply. He was talking about playing blackjack and looking for very low stakes.

I haven't played BJ in a long time the lowest stakes I recall was maybe $3 at the Golden Gate a few years back on a weekday.

does anyone know of of real low staked table games on a Sunday night?

Thanks for any help.

$3 BJ still at Golden Gate. They used to have $3 Let it Ride also w/no bonus, but I dunno if they still have it.

$1 real bad rules BJ at Slots O' Fun next to Circus Circus and also $1 craps.

downtown and off-strip joints still have plenty of $2-3 BJ games. Sahara is also $3. the $1 Slots A Fun shoe game is S17 and DAS so it's actually not that bad.

www.cheapovegas.com is a great resource.

Also, www.bj21.com will have some info as well.

Thanks fellas.

I think dowtown should definitely be in the mix for a newbie to see and bad rules aren't an issue as far as slots o fun goes, he's looking to donate $40 and have a few drinks.

that should be accurate, but the BJ rules are mediocre and it's nowhere near the strip. there are plenty of low-end locals casinos in LV, but you can't get to any of them without having your own car. and the game quality vs. downtown and north strip is negligible. plus, your friend won't get the "vegas" experience of playing in Vegas.
