Tilt Blocker
I'm looking for one of those things that covers up your stack for Limit games on PokerStars. I heard about one but the website was out of date. Anyone know of a current one that I could use?

Re: Tilt Blocker
I have never understood why you would want to do this. I know some ppl do, search the software.
But, if someone bets, and there is $10 in the pot, and you need to call a five cent bet, why would you want to think it might be more? |

because your stack doesn't matter. [/ QUOTE ] only if you buy in for a very large amount.. if you are 10 cent from being busto you should pretty much call any bet since the pot will be hundreds times bigger. |

Re: Tilt Blocker
Giving yourself a good heaping helping of MENTAL DISCIPLINE works better. Why even play if you can't make your decisions rationally? If you want to ignore something, ignore it.

Re: Tilt Blocker
There is and AHK-script, that allows you to make small brown boxes on your screen. It is called TiltBlocker, and you should be able to find it on overcards.com .
If you buy in for like 50bb, you will probably have noticed if you are dropping a lot, and will have a chance to click the nice little "rebuy"-button |

Re: Tilt Blocker
[ QUOTE ]
because your stack doesn't matter. [/ QUOTE ] I think stack size does matter... in most games it has a large impact on your table image. Big stacked others will see you as a winner playing solid poker (if you are or not) therefore people will be more likely to stay out of your way, making bluffs more successful. However short stacked players will be more inclined to put you to a decision for all your chips or raise you. Its good to adjust play based on stack size, and to consider when your opponents are adjusting their play based on your stack sized. In terms of tilt just try not to let being down a little from your buy in affect play, after all playing solid poker should make up for this. |

Jeremy - it is usually only used for limit hold 'em [/ QUOTE ] Everything he said except for the "decision for all your chips" applies to limit as well. |
