Funny thing just happened today, All of a sudden I won 923 dollars play 1 dollar -2 dollar fixed limit for 4300 hands

Are these really cuincendences, I proved my lack of knowledge by how I spelled that word, but really are these really just random ?

so it's actually possible for a player to suck at 5/10 limit but to run-hot and score a decent win against lesser skilled players?
Amazing. Who'd a thunk-it?

This just NEVER happens.

The stars doom-switch people must be f'ing with you again.

Just watch: take your winnings up to 15/30 and see what happened.
The alarm will go off at doom-switch central that you have moved up and they will flip it back on you.

They will receive notification that you are playing against better players on too many tables...and, for some reason, Stars will decide that now is the time to make sure you can no longer win.
Because, of course, we have already determined that your losses can't possibly be from inferior, weak-tight play and missed value-bets from playing too many tables.

Stars does something similar against me and it's obvious they don't want me to get enough points for SNE.
Every time I play 5 or 6 tables I do really well.
This, of course, encourages me to try to play 8 or 9 tables at which point they throw the switch on me and I somehow lose. NO EXPLANATION WHATSOEVER HOW THIS COULD BE.
Therefore it must be their fault.

I'm really kind of mad at Stars for doing that to me.

microboob ur theory is flawed. I run very well at 10-20, 15-30- and I have a winning rate at 100-200 even though its only about 2k hands

I am up .56 per at 10-20 over 30k hands.

im up like 10 bb per 100 at 15-30 over 10k hands

Basically I am winning at every single level except for 5-10 full ring.

This is even counting over 200k hands at party ( all levels ) where I am up at every level.

The only game I seem to lose in is the 5-10 full ring at stars and its driving me mad. Thus the stupid reason I continue to play there at that limit

Obviously I have some flaws in my game, but still I shouldnt be losing this much

OP.

Would you rather have them NOT keep track of your stats so that they have no way to ease your mind / refute your idiotic paranoid claims other than to respond by saying, "No. You're wrong"???

You send them a complaint about your [censored] doomswitch, they take the time to respond in detail with enough information to prove that your lightbulb clearly went out years ago and this "disturbs" you?

After giving them over 20k of rake per month, a stupid standard form email is the least they can do.

You are such a moron. You prefer a form email to actual analysis?

I agree the response is weird and very unprofessional. Stars really do try too hard with their PR.

Regarding your results...you don't understand the nature of variance in poker. It's a lot larger than you think, and you're going to get runs that defy belief.

The people with poor manners in this thread obviously have some personal issues. Just ignore them.
