I fold this all day. The objective of sngs is to win money. Do you really want to risk your whole stack for a chance to double up or quietly fold into the money? I would need AA, KK to shove here, even then I might fold. If this was a mtt, then yes, I shove this all day but 3rd pays much better then 4th. The jump from 3rd to 1st is much smaller then the jump from 4th to 3rd.

It depends on what you mean by "pushing the table around." If villain has raised every hand since becoming the chip leader, then you can probably push; if not, you're not crushing his range by enough to put your chips in. Villain has to be raising something like 86% to make this +EV, which is not unreasonable, but doesn't leave you much of a margin of error. I'd probably curse under my breath and fold.

In the 10 or so hands played since villain acquired half the chips at the table, he has raised about half the time. He definitely wsn't pushing any 2 cards.

In that case, it's a clear fold. In fact, JJ is probably a fold as well. If he's only raising 50% here I think you need QQ+ to push.

You should stop ignoring my first post in this thread, especially if you have dreams of playing SNGs for a $100k/yr living.

If you had just come out and suggested that I plug some numbers into some software that you suggested instead of coming across as a wiseass yet again, I might not have ignored you.

LOL

OP - I agree with the fold. It would be a tough laydown, but that seems to be the correct play here.
