Default 2/4 deepish, missed value bet?

2/4 8-handed, no real reads, villain seems to play a lot of pots though and covers.

Hero($1050] raises to $18 from LP with black AQ, only BB($1650) calls.

Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks, hero bets $32, BB raises to $102, hero calls

Turn: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

BB checks, hero bets $225, BB calls

River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, hero ??

I don't play NL very often but this situation seems pretty common when I do decide to play. Bet $300 on the river and fold to a raise? Scratch my vagine and just check it through?

Im down with a check behind. I think villian (if he does check raise you will have to fold) will only raise monsters or bluffs.
I still think he could still have a hand like A3 or AK. Check

Easy check IMO. If your value betting this, it's a very thin value bet. You don't beat much here. Villian raised the flop then called a big bet on the turn so he's gotta have something good. Judging by the way you posted this you must have had him beat, but against most players I don't see you having a winning hand here.
