I like a bigger flop bet of 145 to pot. And a 1/2 to 4/5 bet on the turn I would call any push and would push any raise of this player.

So, let me ask this question:

Is no one here worried villain made the flush on turn?

why or why not?

it's a heads up, re-raised pot with a ton in the middle, and we are way too likely to still have the best hand to worry much about the flush, and like others have said, he's likely to raise the flop with a draw

obviously he could have made a flush, but that isnt our primary concern, because we have a concealed set in a reraised pot. basically the gameplan is to get him to put as much as possible in the pot no matter what he has, and usually its not a hand that beats us.

in the hand itself I chose to lead weakly on the turn, hoping that he would raise either on a bluff or what he thinks is a valuebet. Another option is to lead strongly and just hope he keeps calling. I don't like that one as much because then my line combined with the board would be too strong for him to call me with as many weaker hands.

Well anyhow I lucked out and ended up against a horrible opponent. I bet like $199, he raised to $470 or something slightly over a minraise, I instashoved, he tank-folded. lol.

what do you think he had?

obviously since he folded it was a cheap bluff and he didnt have enough good outs to call my shove.
