Default Re: BEAT: Loaned friend 10K, can\'t get it back now

I just sent him a text and he responded that he just got a job and I will get my money soon enough. the problem is he has said this before and he has had many opportunities to at least start paying me back. the point is he does not deny owing me any money and i have proof through the text messages.

Break into his home in the middle of the night to steal it. If he wakes up, be like "bitch I will cut you!"

You can write it off as a bad debt for taxes. That way you get 35% back? Depends on your state and marginal tax rate. Thats what I'd do. It's easy and I doubt you get a penny without it being a huge pain in the ass.

I hear what youre saying, although I dont really think you can say that money ruins friendships. If a person would do this to a "friend" how can you possibly acknowledge that this person was a friend to begin with?

Yeah, you never loan money to friends.

You just give it to them if they need it, if they're your friends.

With acquaintances, and a significant sum (this is a relative term) you proceed with caution and exercise your best judgment.

I'm glad at least some of heartless [censored] are now seeing the light with this whole Barry G thing.

Tell him that either he pays up now, or you're going to spend another 10k on crackheads to f him up twice a week. Should work.
