Suit yourself... Rand is such an awful writer though, I can't imagine voluntarily putting oneself through that. There are better economic/philosophical writers out there lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

Now that's a good thread. I nominate Ken Wilber's modestly, yet deservedly titled, Theory of Everything.

I want to know the name of the ship because I enjoy working obscure referances into dinner party conversations.

I read the obscure novel, but I forget this little detail. And I used the obscure search engine, but didn't find the name of the ship, just the captain.

And I already knew that much...

Work in that Al Gore has a huge carbon footprint. That is more amusing, timely and conversational.

Either that, or how it is now legal to make ethanol in ones home, with the appropriate federal permits.

So you want to randomly bring up the name of a ship so that you sound smart? Why stop there? Take a copy of your SAT score and your preschool grades also.

I read it because I'm interested in economics & philisophy, and I happen to be a capitalist.

you probably suck at google. but if you don't, why don't you just check it out in your copy of the book, since you're a fan? oh wait, probably because you don't own the book, you read twenty pages of your dad's copy and put it down to watch Cribs because it blows goats.
