Re: Wynn 1k limit event bubble question
"$EV and cEV diverge greatly at this spot."
I think I disagree with this. With 7k chips, chances are if you make it past the bubble you will bust out before the final table fairly often, so survival doesn't really gain you much (depending on actual payout structure). If you play this hand, there isn't a huge chance you bust out of the money since you have to lose to both the raiser and the short stack. I think I would play a pretty wide range depending on what the raisers opening range is. The fact that you say MP was "out of his mind" makes me think that you should be playing as loose as AT or AJ, maybe even KQ as well as 77+. cEV and $EV probably do diverge here, but I doubt it's by a large amount. |

Re: Wynn 1k limit event bubble question
are you people freaking kidding
if he checks down any two, I'm calling...top 90%. and I might be wrong by 10% here. since he's not checking down...any ace, king, queen, jack, anything remotely related to connectedness or suitedness (maybe not 32s but almost everything else), and I fold, like, 94o or something. even if button triples up on this hand, he still posts/goes busto before you do if you fold a flop you totally miss. this is very important to your equity overall and also very important to what you should be doing in this hand (ie, reducing his winning chances.) |
