Default Pokergrapher Problem

I get this:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

whenever I try to graph a database. Anyone know what's wrong?

Make sure you're using the latest Beta. 1.4.3 available here.

Then launch Poker Grapher in debug mode. Go to Start -> All Programs -> Poker Grapher -> Poker Grapher (debug mode). This will create a log file called PGLog.txt in your installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Poker Grapher). If you PM me the contents of this log file, I'll take a look at it.

chcheers - I looked at the log file. You're using an older version of PokerTracker. I'm curious as to which version? Try downloading the latest version, 2.16.01g here.

That should resolve the issues. If not, let me know and I'll dig a little deeper.

I thought my PT was up-to-date, but I guess not. I installed the patch, but I still get the same error message when I hit "Graph" on the main pokergraph screen.

I also had a JIT error whenever I tried to run pokerpatterns, and was never able to resolve it.

Again, appreciate the help.

cheers

OK, chcheers. I'll dig into the code. I've not seen this error if PT was up-to-date, but hey, that's why it's still a Beta. Can you run it again in debug mode so I can see the log file since you've updated PT? You can PM the new log file, so we don't clog up this forum.

chcheers, thanks for the new log file. This is getting weird. What version of Poker Tracker Hold'em are you using (it should display in the title bar)? Are you using Poker Tracker Stud or Omaha also, maybe?

Poker Grapher is looking for a specific registry key that it is not finding. It is finding registry settings from older versions of Poker Tracker, however. And it appears to be able to open the databases successfully.

When it does open up, does it accurately show all your Databases and Aliases on the Databases tab? Also, on the Options tab, does it show all your Limits and Sites?

I am working on a special version for you that will have even more detailed debugging information specific to the Graphing button.

Thanks for helping me track down this bug.

CB

EDIT: Do you have the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or above installed on your system? If not, it can be downloaded here.

chcheers - I just released a new Beta of Poker Grapher. See if it helps.

By the way, what version of PT are you running?
